Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and attentive Server to join our close-knit family team. As a Server at Gran Sasso you will play a key role in delivering exceptional hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. You’ll serve our authentic Italian dishes with warmth and professionalism in a lively, family-oriented setting.

This position focuses on evening dinner service, where you will help guests enjoy quality Italian meals in a cozy, welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with genuine enthusiasm, sharing highlights of our Italian specialties
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system
• Serve dishes and drinks promptly while maintaining excellent food presentation
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell thoughtfully to enhance the guest experience
• Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation at all times
• Manage multiple tables effectively during busy periods with grace and efficiency
• Address guest questions, special requests, dietary needs, and concerns with professionalism and care
• Keep dining areas, tables, and service stations clean and inviting throughout your shift
• Answer phones, take reservations, and process take-out orders
• Assist with light food preparation and kitchen support when needed

• Previous restaurant experience is an asset, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important
• Availability to work Wednesday through Saturday evenings

Hiring a crew of three to cook, serve and manage our student lunches.

Monday to Friday 10 am – 2 pm

Position Summary

We are seeking three reliable and energetic Part-Time Lunch Cooks to join our close-knit family team. This role focuses on our fast-paced lunch service, where you’ll prepare and serve a quick, student-friendly menu. As part of this crew you are responsible for preparing and serving a growing and evolving lunch menu, while ensuring a clean and organized environment. Speed, efficiency, and consistency are essential.

In addition to lunch service, you will help transition the restaurant from daytime operations to evening dinner service by completing thorough cleaning, restocking, and basic preparation tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-volume lunch items quickly and to consistent quality standards
• Handle food prep (portioning, chopping, assembling ingredients) for efficient service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation during peak service
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including fryers & ovens 
• Provide friendly, efficient service to customers in a fast-paced environment
• Assist with deep cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas after lunch
• Set up and prepare the restaurant for dinner service (stocking, re-arranging dining area etc.)
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

What We’re Looking For

• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred (fast-food, cafeteria, or casual dining experience is a plus)
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under time pressure
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and cleanliness
• Positive attitude and reliability – we’re a small family team and value team players
• Comfort working with students and providing quick, friendly service
• Ability to work safely & productively as an individual & as part of a team
• Food Handler’s Certificate

We are looking for a reliable and passionate Dinner Cook to join our close-knit family team. In this role, you will prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes for our evening dinner service. You’ll work during our busiest and most rewarding hours, helping deliver high-quality plates that reflect the heart of our family recipes. This position focuses on dinner service, with an emphasis on fresh preparation, proper technique, and beautiful presentation.

You will also assist with kitchen closing duties and help maintain a clean, organized workspace that sets the team up for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Italian dishes according to our family recipes and high quality standards
• Ensure consistent portioning, plating, and presentation of every dish
• Maintain excellent food safety and sanitation practices at all times
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service
• Assist with daily prep, ingredient handling, and inventory rotation
• Perform thorough cleaning and closing duties at the end of each shift
• Help transition the kitchen from dinner service to the following day

• Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not required
